This 1927 Ford Model T was one of the most reliable, cheapest and most common cars of the 1930's. Henry Ford claimed that he would make a car in any color so long as it was black. This model ford was the first model that you could buy in a color different than black, Fords reason for this was that black paint is cheeper and drys faster. That way Ford could make more cars faster and for less money. This system worked tremendously well for Ford and is still used as an example of excellent business model today.

CH 1-10 D
To further understand chapter seven, I researched the cars that were specifically mentioned so that I could develop a more vivid image of the text. During the 1930's the young enterprise of the car market was off to a rough start as companies attempted new designs and models for cars, which resulted in a fluctuation in capital for the market with the exception of Ford and General Motors. By 1931, the Unites states had nearly 850,000 miles of paved highways. And in 1935, Oklahoma City was the first place to erect parking meters which would later become greatly popular amongst the major cities of America. (for more information, click here )
